Head Coach Rustin Pickett

Born in Queens, NY and raised in Ohio, Coach Rustin Pickett made his way out West right after college.

After a three year stint as a Sports Information Director at Fresno Pacific University, Coach Pickett was recruited to jump into the coaching ranks. His first stop was at Bullard HS as a Freshman and JV RB/DB Coach. He was able to witness the first Valley Championship in Bullard HS history as Don Arax and claimed the crown in 2009.

Coach Pickett climbed through the Bullard ranks and became a Varsity DB/Special Teams Coordinator and helped guide the Knights to another Valley Championship Game.

In 2013 Coach Pickett ventured off to Fresno High before landing his first Offensive Coordinator job at Sunnyside High School for the 2014-2015 seasons. In 2014 he was named Offensive Coordinator by Head Coach Jason Murray. While there he also carried the Associate Head Coach role during the 2015 season, which was granted to him by Head Coach Gordon Wood.

After two seasons at Sunnyside, Coach Pickett made his way out to Madera to join Yosef Fares for two years. During his tenure in Madera he was instrumental in leading an 0-10 team to the Quarterfinals.

After Sunnyside Coach Pickett was named the Head Coach of the Hoover Patriots, a position held for three years.
