Head Coach Brandon Ward - County Team

Coach Ward just finished his 22nd year coaching football. He began his coaching career in 2001 as an assistant JV Football coach at his alma mater, Caruthers High School. He was the JV Head Coach in 2004 and 2005. He spent the 2006 season as the Head Varsity Football Coach at Riverdale High School. In 2007, he returned to his alma mater where he spent 8 years as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator.

When legendary Coach Tom Casanova retired in 2015, Coach Ward was named the Varsity Head Football Coach. Since taking over the program, his teams have won 71 games, 4 League Championships, 2 Valley Championships (2017 & 2019), and a runner up finish in the Valley Championship game this year.

Coach Ward is also an Alumni of the City County game and played linebacker for the ‘94 County team representing his alma mater, Caruthers High School.
